The conference will open with a presentation of the "Joint
Vision" initiative for the inclusive development of a ‘policy
framework for a shared society in Israel. This will be followed
by key recommendations for such a vision presented by the
"Ridgefield Group" – a group of Jewish & Arab civil society leaders
in cooperation with the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy at
Tufts University (USA). High level Arab and Jewish political leaders
will then give keynote speeches that reflect on the meaning of
"shared society" and its importance in the Israeli context.
